Leave This World Behind - Postcard Series
A reflection on transformation, inner strength, and the grounding power of nature.
This series of three postcards was created for the 2nd Annual Postcard Show at Brassworks Gallery 2024, Portland, Oregon. Worked on simultaneously, side by side, they explore the act of leaving behind old patterns and inner shadows, creating space for a new inner world — one that feels more comfortable, confident, and alive with quiet power.
For me, moments of transcendence are always tied to nature: stepping away from the noise of everyday life, returning to the forest, and finding grounding there. Leave This World Behind is both a farewell to the old and an embrace of this deeper, calmer strength.
